 Open Eye Figure Theatre, under the leadership of acclaimed theatre artist Michael Sommers, creates grand theatrical events on an intimate scale; producing work that is at once both whimsical and profound. It entertains people of all ages with award-winning puppet-theatre in the company's beautiful, historic Minneapolis home. Open Eye is also home to the nationally recognized Driveway Tour, which brings the magic of puppetry to neighborhoods throughout the Twin Cities every summer; and Open Studio, a pioneering program which provides established artists with opportunities to explore new artistic directions. |
