BLIND DATE the CONCERT
Blind Date is a concert by two critically lauded female fronted bands: Patches and Gretchen (Gretchen Seichrist, Danny Viper, Mike Carina, Erik Lillestol, Dan Greenwood, Jeaneen Gauthier) will be careening back into town near the end of their tour, and Annie Enneking and the Bang Bang (Annie Enneking, Chadly Koppenhaver, Tom Penney) will be gearing up for their CD release in August. The bands, in a sort of arranged gig marriage, will perform their brands of darkly dreamy rock, roughish folk and lyrically potent pop in round-robin style, with lights and video projection by Michael Murnane. It promises to be the most intimate small-scale arena rock show ever.
