Basque Supper Club

The Basque Supper Club isbased on the celebrated txokos in the Basque country of northern Spain. A txoko (Basque pronunciation:[choko) istypically a Basquetype of closedgastronomical society. Traditionally they are made up of members who come together to cook, experiment with new ways of cooking, eat and socialize. They are very popular institutions; the town ofGernika,Spain, for example, has approximately 15,000 inhabitants and nine txokos with some 700 members in total.
