DEERTREES THEATRE

Listed on the National Historic Register, Deertrees Theatre was built in 1936 as an acoustically perfect Adirondack-style opera house and has been a Lakes Region landmark/entertainment venue ever since. For the summer of 2017 and the theatre's 81st Season, Deertrees will be host to more than 35 events and performances of theatrical productions, musical concerts, comedy nights, art exhibitions, and family entertainments.

Don't forget to visit the on-site Salt Lick Cafe & Bar which is open before each performance and at Intermission serving home-made desserts and munchies, hot and cold drinks plus wine and beer. There are also picnicking facilities available on the grounds to enjoy before the shows.
Most performances begin at 7:30 PM with General Seating starting at 7:00 PM. All ages are welcome and the theatre is handicapped accessible.

When it opened 81 years ago, Deertrees was the most technically advanced theatre outside of New York. Acoustically perfect, this celebrated theatre is a rare treasure located in the heart of Maine's spectral Lakes Region.
