The trio Talween takes its listeners on musical journeys influenced by Tunisian African roots and classical Arabic music creating a subtle mix of new world music, oriental sounds, and jazzy beats with a prominent African flavor. Walid Zairis oud music is unique and fresh and takes the ancient instrument on adventures out of its usual conservative milieu. Talween the Arabic world for coloring displays a kaleidoscope of musical colors with mesmerizing melodies and improvisations.
