60 Years of Beatlemania
Friday, February 9th at 7pm celebrate the 60th anniversary of The Beatles first appearance on the Ed Sullivan show! More than 73 million Americans tuned in to watch the 1964 broadcast, which launched the British Invasion and Beatlemania. And, in case you missed it, we'll screen the entire one-hour show (with commercials) as seen on CBS!
Bob Eubanks (The Newlywed Game), was a DJ on KRLA-AM at the time and so believed in the group he actually mortgaged his home in order to present The Fab Four at the Hollywood Bowl. He will be sharing his personal insights and memories as part of this extraordinary evening.
The evening also features live music by Bobby, Fin and Dave (also known as BFD) playing a wide range of acoustic Beatles favorites.
And we've got a few surprises up our sleeve as well, so don't miss 60 Years of Beatlemania!
