Los Angeles Clarinet Choir in Concert "Song and Dances"
The Los Angeles Clarinet Choir, 13 professional clarinetists performing on soprano, sopranino, alto, bass, contra-alto and contrabass instruments, presents an eclectic program of original works and arrangements at Pasadena City College's intimate Westerbeck Recital Hall, 1570 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, Saturday, June 10, at 7:30 PM. The program features a jazz solo for E-flat clarinet played by David Myer; a klezmer style solo by Alexis Ciesla for soprano clarinet performed by Jenna Tatiyatrairong; Danzon #2 by Arturo Marquez in a new arrangement by Carlos Herrera; a tango by Piazzolla; Voice Dance IV by Jasperse transcribed by Ryan Espinosa; and the tuneful "St.Paul Suite" by Gustav Holst in an arrangement by Roger Garrett. General admission: $20. Ages 18 and under admitted free.
