We invite you to 1965: A Summer Soiree, our annual event where we'll host a silent auction and raffle to help reach our $21,000.00 funding goal. Proceeds will benefit our work of supporting doulas and birthing families in Chicago through our programs, community services, and resources. Join us in celebrating all we have come through and are growing to become - all in the name of Birth and Reproductive Justice.
In the spirit of upholding birth justice and liberation for our future solidarity, CVD will honor Community Birthworkers in the struggle to reduce maternal mortality rates for Black Women and Birthing People. Award recipients include:
Jeanine Valrie Logan, Midwife with Chicago South Side Birth Center Sonia Collins and Nancy Cowans of Sokana Collective
Come prepared to bid and buy for the cause!
