Faculty Concert: "The Ally Project"
Jazz pianist Jonathan Fagan and Medford's Poet Laureate Terry E. Carter share their collaborative "Ally Project" as part of Winchester Community Music Schools 40th anniversary faculty concert series. Carter's powerful words, together with Fagan's arrangements and improvised accompaniments, provide an emotional lens through which to process the themes of racial justice, cultural heritage, and family that Carter poignantly emphasizes throughout his work. Free; donations are welcome. Limited in-person seating must be reserved in advance. All attendees must show proof of full vaccination (including booster) at the door, and wear masks at all times in our building.
