Heart of Belonging 3 - April 19, 20, & 21
Heart of Belonging (Part 3) Boulder, MT
As spring makes its way into being, what inner intelligence is longing for a reunion with you? What sanctuary is required for you to anchor and ground so you can listen? What are some of the threads of our interconnection, and how might a devotion to embodied listening help us continue responding through this deeper weave of knowing? What are the earthen and truer colors of giftedness and the possibilities that peculate when one attends to this multidimensional pulse of exile and belonging? With inquiry we will open our awareness to how we make a home in our bodies and lives. With stillness and conscious movement we will engage and discover, uncover and let move that which is longing for our devotion.
Through a constellation of soulful writings from poets and Toko-pa Turner's book on belonging, Jody Mosher will guide participants to uncover, discover and move with aspects exile and belonging, as well as living into the questions that compel our sense of well-being in a world both in the self and in community. The weekend will offer inquiry, various conscious movement practices (Open Floor, Reflective Morning Movement, Developmental Movement), music soundscapes, and good ol' fun and relaxation as pointers and skills to this discovery and embodiment of Belonging.
Contact Jody at ouzeljig@gmail.com for more information and/or if interested in further offerings.

Please note the event price does not include room and meals at Boulder Hot Springs. You will need to call and make separate arrangements and payment for your stay. There are several options to meet your budget. If you are coming solo and wouldn't mind rooming with someone to reduce the cost of lodging, let Jody know in the questionnaire at the end of the event registration so she can connect you to others. In addition, if more than 20 people seeking accommodations (lodging and meals) with BHS, the meal prices will be reduced. Meals can accommodate your dietary needs and include the following meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. If you attempt to go online to register a room, you won't find rooms available as they are blocked out for our event and you'll need to call BHS to reserve your room. Rooms are limited so the early you call the better. I, Jody, will be looking for an assistant or 2 if you like to join but know the registration cost would hold you back. Here's an exerpt from Toko-pa Turner's book, something we can all relate to living in the world these days...
So many of us are out at sea, looking for home. We try this way and that, battling the endless march of adversaries, led by cynicism and apathy. We fight them with every poetry we possess. We are gentle. We yield. We get back to navigating our crafts. . But every once in a while, exhaustion can turn into despair. The tiny flame, which takes our every resource to shield, blows out on an unexpected gust. Even then, lightless and alone, some of us remount our enterprise. . It helps to think of more than ourselves. It helps to see the earth workers, the artists, the mothers, the lovers, the singers, the poets and dreamers as threads in a web. By ourselves we are fragile strands, songs with no listeners, but together we are a relentless network. Wherever there is depression, there is colour made vivid by the grey. . When I feel this fog rolling in on me, I light fires of affection in the hearts of others. I tell them in tangible ways how the life they live makes me live mine differently, how precious and important they are to the rest of us. That fire then becomes like a beacon which burns through the grey and which I can sail towards. . ~ Belonging: Remembering Ourselves Home by Toko-pa Turner (belongingbook.com)
