Indian Music Workshop with Sandip Bhattacharjee and Susmita Chakraborty
Do you love traditional Indian Classical or Bollywood music, or the amazing improvisational vocal music of Ravi Shankar or A.R. Rahman?
Here is a great opportunity to IMPROVE your PITCH and INCREASE your VOCAL RANGE while we practice the ancient vocal techniques from Hindustani classical music, the traditional music of northen India (a.k.a. Sangt) which dates back to the 12th century CE.
We're honored to have as our clinicians the renowned Hindustani classical vocalist, Guru Sandip Bhattacharjee, and semi- Classical singer Susmita Chakraborty who will train the beginners and guide them in their singing. She will be teaching Bollywood songs, Bhajans, and Bengali songs.
In addition to Indian Classical Music, individual lessons are available in other forms of Indian music, like Ghazal, Bhajan, Bollywood music or Bengali songs (Nazrulgeeti or Modern Classical based) upon request.
