Bemidji Symphony Orchestra presents "The Snowman: Music & Film!"
A delightful movie for all ages, The Snowman is an Academy Award-nominated animation based on Raymond Briggs classic childrens book of the same name. It tells the endearing story of a young boy who builds a snowman that magically comes to life, and the two go soaring through the sky on an enchanted adventure. The film itself is wordless, and the BSO will perform Howard Blakes beautiful Snowman soundtrack live with the film.
The second half of the concert will include a selection of holiday favorites such as Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, Irving Berlins White Christmas, Leroy Andersons Sleigh Ride, plus a Christmas sing-along.
All seats general admission. Students K-12 are FREE. Doors open for seating at 6:30 pm. This concert is sponsored by Sanford Health of Bemidji.
