The natural foods revolution of the past three decades has changed what we eat, where we shop, how we talk and think about food... and it has also created a second revolution in entrepreneurship, focused on the "triple bottom line." Seattle is on the front lines of that revolution, with a lively community built around sustainability and food entrepreneurship.
Join us for this unique and entertaining event, as we celebrate the launch of Joe Dobrow's new history of the natural foods movement, Natural Prophets, by staging a food entrepreneurship panel discussion and strategy slam.
Panelists include Joe Whinney (Co-Founder and CEO of Theo Chocolate), Edmond Sanctis (Co-Founder of Sahale Snacks) and Arjan Stephens (Executive VP of Sales & Marketing at Nature's Path). We'll have free natural and organic food samples from all of those companies, as well as from Seattle's own Zing Bars, and a strategy slam competition among some of the great new up-and-coming food companies in the Northwest.
