As an adolescent clintone lost both of his parents, and through music he found an escape and loved it. Soon after he discovered his talent for music. After the tragic loss of his beloved parent's clintone was raised by Lino okello and Rose oyuro whom he considers them are his parents as well. Once again destiny alerted Clintone to use his music talent to help those who suffered the same lose as him. Lino Okello is a guitar player who motivated Clintone to pursue his dream of becoming an African musician, and through this motivation clintone was awaken by a lost dream that his father created before he passed away. At the age of three, clintone's biological father took him to a concert in Congo to witness Koffi olomide. This concert allowed him to incorporate Congolese music style in his work. As a Sudanese, clintone created a unique style of music that compose both Congolese style and Sudanese rhythm; furthermore, the name Sultan Clintone is a derivative of his biological fathers common name in his village, and the name Clintone was given to him by his friends, whom they compared him to a band member in Wenge Musice MM.
