LOS ANGELES CLARINET CHOIR presents "MUSICAL CROSSROADS"
The popular ensemble of 15 clarinetists performing on soprano, sopranino, alto, bass, contra alto, and contrabass clarinets under the direction of Margaret Thornhill and Victoria Ramos, plays an international program at the new Drinkward Recital Hall at Harvey Mudd College, part of the Claremont College Consortium!
Join the LA Clarinet Choir as they become one of the first outside groups to perform in the new Drinkward Recital Hall in the Shanahan Center at Harvey Mudd College, Saturday, Dec. 7, at 8PM.
Their program is an exciting cultural mix of original works, from Japanese tangoes by Masamicz Amano, to French klezmer by Alexis Ciesla with Christin Hablewitz as soloist. Music inspired by the American west, Film noir, Canterbury Catherdral, the eruption of Mount Vesuvius at Pompeii, and circus clowns, competes with the famous Clarinet Polka with three soloists for best of show! Fun for the entire family.
