Education Reopening: Prioritizing the use of COVID-19 Funds for Safer Schools
Since March of 2021, the engineers at FSi have turned their skills toward building safety. We began with the layout of our own office and realized that things as simple as desk placement were more complicated than we first thought. We consumed all of the information as the CDC learned more about the virus, delved into ASHRAE guidelines for COVID-19 mitigation, and gained information as we worked with architects and facility managers who dealt with every day implementations.
We have accumulated a huge store of knowledge from this work and want to share it, particularly as schools prepare to re-open and need to prioritize the use of federal funding from the COVID-19 Relief Bill for both K-12 and Higher Education. Brian has been sharing this information with school boards and architects for more than half of the pandemic, keeping the presentation updated as new information and practices become available.
We hope you will join us for this hour-long, info-packed presentation that will help you formulate your COVID-19 response as you move into "the new normal," making the most of the funds allocated to you.
