ZAG is proud to host Shantikar!
Shantikar is an ensemble of diverse musicians united in the belief that sacred music is an uplifting and healing force for positive community evolution. Led by RICHARD RUSSELL - lead singer, sarode player and composer - the ensemble weaves the ancient traditions of Indian raga and mantra with the energizing sound of the modern bhakti beat. Featuring ALICE ZIMMERMANN on vocals & harmonium, DENNIS STASKOWSKI on bass and special guest, CHAZ HASTINGS on tabla. The first set will be a raga from the tradition of Indian classical music featuring sarode & tabla. This opening will be followed by the full kirtan band. Prepare yourself for a mesmerizing soundscape for meditation, singing, and celebration as the Rasa of devotional joy unfolds.

There are 4 tiers for sliding scale from $15 up. Limited number of tix in each tier are available. Age 15yo and younger free admission.
