The actual Bar was shiped over from England long ago and used at the Masquers Club, a famous Actor's club established in 1925. Errol Flynn is said to have made the big Cigar burn on the Bar back when the Masquers Club had the Bar. It has been preserved! If you are into History You could ask the Bartender if he would show you!
The Mayflower Club was founded by English Ex-patriots in 1965. Even the Bar is all English. You can salute a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II when you are there.
