Marina Albero & Luis Gallo
Flamenco guitarist Luis Gallo comes back to Seattle for a special duo concert with Marina Albero (piano and psalterium). This house concert is hosted by a lovely family in Madrona, Seattle, where music and food are the rituals of love and gratitude. There is going to be some tortilla de patatas and wine.
Gallo has played with some of the most well-known flamenco musicians in Spain and his own project "Los Caminos de la Guitarra" has been acclaimed by audiences and critics both on their spanish and european tour.
On this occasion Gallo reunites with Seattle based multi instrumentalist Marina Albero to perform as a duo which allows them to deepen into their roots while sets them free to improvise creating a dialogue of intense rhythms and Iberian melodies.
