SpiritSong: PopUp Choir Welcomes Dr. Lee Nelson
Philosopher and mystic Max Heindel states, Music comes from the home world of the Spirit and is recognized by the Spirit as a 'soul-speech' fresh from the celestial realms. SpiritSong explores the wonders of this mysterious realm and gives breath to the emotions found within the human experience. This concert explores the marvels of creation, the beauty of the Spirit made flesh, the indescribable spirit of selfless love, the pain felt in humanitys deep suffering and the overwhelming joy found when pain is overcome by hope.
PopUp Choir and Artistic Director, Dr. Lee Nelson of Wartburg College invite you to come and immerse yourself in this eclectic program featuring masterworks by Haydn, Monteverdi, Philips and Parry alongside contemporary composers Praulins, Barnum, Koppin, Hagenberg, Muhly and Kirchner.
