La Fiesta Underwater World Party 2018
Intercambio Uniting Communities is hosting its 17th annual La Fiesta World Party on Saturday, September 8th from 6:30pm to 12:00am at the Boulder County Fairgrounds (9595 Nelson Rd, Longmont, CO 80501,) this time celebrating the theme "Underwater."
The event features:
-Live Music
-Kid's Zone
-Food trucks
-World Market
-And lots of fun!
The goal of the event is to celebrate our multicultural community by bringing diverse cultures together for a lively evening of entertainment. La Fiesta also raises $40,000+ to subsidize the costs of English classes for over 1200 immigrant adults throughout Boulder County.
Five live bands will inspire the dance floor with rhythms ranging from R&B music with the Soul School, tropical rhythms and salsa with Basilon Lagunero & Quemando, to African and Brazilian drumming and dancing with Mokomba, Bateria Alegria and Ginga.
Food trucks featuring international tapas, delicious tacos, quesadillas, and wood-fired pizza will also delight the senses. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to buy beautiful art, jewelry, clothing and artisan goods in our World Market.*A portion of sales benefit Intercambio English classes.
