New-Armenian Supper Club | Transformative Fundraiser
TONIC & JUICE™ has some really big changes coming in 2018. As the year tails off, we are amping up to kick-off a full year of open to the public Armenian suppers, every other Tuesday, for an entire year.
This one-year trial period, which will include licensed tea packaging and distribution space along with a dining room, is vital to the longevity of the business model-- because success here could mean even bigger things for the venture and for the Armenian culinary scene here in Detroit.
Not only is this a big step for the business it is also a huge leap for our founder Julién Godman, who has been cooking up monthly brunches in Detroit for the past four years. It is his goal to open up a two-fold facility: New-Armenian cafe as well as an herbal tea house with distribution/packaging space. This fundraiser, though small, will bring him one step closer.
As with many start-up small businesses it can be a hustle, which is why we ran a small Kickstarter campaign last Spring. But that doesn't mean we can't have fun while movin' & shakin'.
On December 12th, 2017 we are planning our largest production to-date and you are cordially invited to attend.
Please note, seating is limited to 30 people.
This full-service, semi-formal, communal supper experience will include seven gourmet courses of New-Armenian creations (meat, vegetarian and vegan friendly). Full seasonal & locally-sourced menu is "to be released".
The evening will also include a small gift, live entertainment, an open dry (virgin) bar including our signature Lemon Hach'yel herbal tea with fig juice accompaniment and two other seasonal drinks.
In addition, as it is a fundraiser, there will be a handful of highly curated holiday gift baskets available for purchase, for those looking to support the venture further. Baskets will include a variety of specialty foods and products, including of course some of our herbal tea. Prices will range $50 - $300.
