"AN" concert for peace
"AN" is a Veterans Day 2017 concert to benefit Samaritan Counseling Center Hawai'i, a non-profit organization. "AN" is the Korean hanja, Japanese kanji, & Chinese hanzi meaning tranquil, soothing, calm, peaceful, & safe.
Two-time Emmy nominee puppeteer/musician Thom Fountain III, instrumentalist/composer River Kim, singer/songwriter Chaz Hill, New York Times best-selling author and poet Kathleen Norris, poet/activist Frank Lee, & dance-educator/choreographer Esther Izuo present a seamless experience of original and traditional songs, poetry, & movement.
The concert begins at 8 pm. There is an artists reception at 6:15 pm and art donation drawing at 7:15 pm. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
Art pieces donated by local Hawai'i artists.
