Come experience the beautiful Sema ceremony, in which dancers gracefully revolve, robes billowing, accompanied by an ensemble of Turkish musicians playing traditional instruments including the ney flute, oud lute, singers, kudüm and bender drums.
With the formal permission of the sheikh, semazen will present the Ceremony in honor of Jelaleddin Rumi, the mystical poet. They revolve around the heart center in surrender to the Divine Will, which guides them ever closer to Truth and the ideal of service to humanity. This unique performance creates an amazing atmosphere that is rarely experienced in our fast paced world.
