Lotus Uprising Jazz Brunch
Sunday morning. You roll out of bed to commune with twenty other people who seem like your kind of crowd. You lay out your mat, wipe the sleep from your eyes, drink some cucumber-mint water, and begin to breathe deeply. You practice yoga set to music crafted for the occasion. You feel space opening in your body and mind. This is your kind of class. Sunlight glints through the window and leaves fall to the ground as you lose sense of time. You're waking up.
Fresh flowers and handmade touches mark the scene while smells of natural foods waft through the air. You sweat out your stress. When the class ends, you change clothes, or maybe you don't. You enjoy fresh squeezed juice and fill your plate with wholesome, delicious treats. You can't believe they're vegan.
Over brunch, you begin talking with a stranger. Jazz music blends with hushed conversations between new friends. It's nice to feel a connection in this city, and you feel special being part of this experience. When the music ends, you clap and you mean it. You feel alive and energized and it's only 1:30pm. The day is young and full of possibility. Your world is expanding.
