FRIDAY's "SOUNDBATH & CHANT INTRO"
DESCRIPTION: A soundbath is an improvised live concert of ambient sound vibrations that shift the listener's body and consciousness into deep relaxation and restorative biological states, offeringa mini-retreat from the busy outside world.Many people attend soundbaths to reduce the effects of stress andcleartension or blockages in the mind/body/emotions/spirit,in orderto feel cleansed and replenished.Instruments utilized in this soundbath will include: voice/vocal toning, crystal bowls, gongs, drums, and an opportunity for participants to contribute their voices in call & response chanting. FULL FRI, SAT, SUN WEEKEND IMMERSION:
"FINDING YOUR NATURAL VOICE SOUNDHEALNG PLAYSHOP" DESCRIPTION: In a playful and supportive, empowering space we'll progress gradually through a series of fun exercises and experiences that hep us get in touch with our natural voice and spontaneity. The natural voice springs from our natural state of being. Both introverts and extroverts will enjoy:
*developing our creative capacity + spontaneity *breath work/warming up and protecting the voice *sacred language/mantra/cross-cultural chant, call & response *opportunities for individual experimentation and expression (no pressure and not required:) *sound healing experiences

Rafe Pearlman Bio: Rafe's music is anchored by his vocal range, deep and full, and it seemingly flows forth from cultures around the world, ethnicandurban. Colored by the sounds, textures and experiences of a lifetime of travel, from the Alaskan Bush to the Middle East, Rafe Pearlman's music inspires emotion and moves the spirit. A study of contradictions and an explorative synthesis of vocal styles, his voice and music has been described as: eccentric, passionate, cerebral, gentle, poignant, earthy, and reflective.
From Seattle, New York and Los Angeles to Canada, Australia and Israel, Rafe has shared the stagewith Zakir Hussain, Brandi Carlile, Babatunde Olatunji, Candlebox, Cheikh Lo, Sheva, George Brooks, Sky Cries Mary, Jai Uttal, Paul Winter and Ashish Khan.He is the lead singer with William Close and the Earth Harp Collective who travel the globe with the world's largest stringed instrument and he was featured on America's Got Talent. Rafe also performed at the official VIP Tailgate Party for the 2015 Superbowl.

Zia Sunseri Bio:
Zia Sunseri www.ziasunseri.com is a Seattle-based soundhealer, intuitive healer, and shamanic counselor. Zia is also currently practicing psychotherapy and art therapy with individuals and groups in her last year of internship to become a Psychotherapist & Art Therapist. Zia researches the neurophysiological evidence associated with the beneficialeffects of soundhealing, visualization, active imagination, and art therapy techniques, in addition to traditional talk therapy. Zia guides her clients in returning to their natural healthy state of flow. She lead clients in cathartic, creative, pleasurable and deeply meditative experiences to open up, gain clarity, heal trauma, and fundamentally, to helpanxiety and stress fad by the stimulating the mind-body'snatural restorative functions to flourish.
