The Thomas Edison House, a non-profit organization and part of the Historic Homes Foundation, Inc., strives to inspire creativity through the exploration of history, science and communication. Annually the house welcomes more than 4,000 guests from around the world, and hosts educational outreach initiatives like Invention Convention, a program designed for 4th graders that encourages children to "think like Edison", teaching innovation through creative problem-solving and invention.
