Edstravaganza 2013
***Online ticket sales will end at 2:00 on November 9, 2013 but there will be tickets available at the door.***
The Thomas Edison House, part of the Historic Homes Foundation, Inc., strives to inspire creativity through the exploration of history, science and communication. Annually, the house hosts Edstravaganza to raise funds to "keep the lights on" at a museum which welcomes more than 4,000 guests from around the world each year. Approximately 30% of the house's annual operating budget is raised through Edstravaganza; this is money that helps support educational outreach initiatives like Invention Convention, a program designed for 4th graders that encourages children to "think like Edison" and promotes innovation through creative problem-solving and invention.
Please join us for an evening celebrating this great inventor and his contributions to our community featuring heavy hors d'oeuvres, a full bar, photo booth and silent auction.
Special thanks to our sponsors Bittners, Magnolia Photo Booth Company, Monroe Shine & Co., Inc. CPAs, and Vendome Copper & Brass Works.
