University Settlement is a non-profit social service agency that serves the needs of the community through a variety of social, educational, and health programs that transform the lives of children, families, and seniors. The agency has served the Broadway neighborhood since 1926 when it was established by what is now Case Western Reserve University to help Eastern Europe immigrants start new lives in Cleveland.
Today, our talented and committed staff, supplemented by more than 1,500 volunteers, operates 10 major programs and served nearly 10,000 individuals in 2012. The needs in the community continue to grow as demand for our services have grown over 60% in the past two years.
