The Fourth Annual Taste of Slavic Village
University Settlement and the Third Federal Foundation are proud to present the Fourth Annual Taste of Slavic Village! Sample the finest food in Slavic Village while enjoying the Polka-stylings of DJ Kishka, bidding on exciting silent auction packages and supporting the critical work of University Settlement. Back for a fourth year in a row to host the Taste of Slavic Village is WKNR and ESPN Radio's Mark "Munch" Bishop, who grew up in Slavic Village as a youth.
Featured restaurants include Krusinski's Fine Meats, Remmer's Place, Sokol Greater Cleveland, the Green Corps, R&K Sausage, Old World Foods and Union Community Garden. More to come!
This year, we will present our 2012 Outstanding Service Award to Elaine Kukawka, long-time supporter of University Settlement and founder of "Ed's Fund for Kids." Our 2012 Marc A. Stefanski Community Impact Award Recipient is Baldwin Wallace University, a strong community partner in our efforts to support the families living in Cleveland's Broadway / Slavic Village community. We are also pleased to introduce our new Executive Director, Derrick Fulton, to our friends, partners and supporters.
