Rhythm Dance / Jam Roller Skate Lessons with Tinisha "Freight Train"

SCHEDULE
5:00 - 7:00 PM

Classes are $10 online, $12 at the door

ALL skill levels and ages are welcome.

My hope is for these classes build your confidence in the world of rhythm/jam roller skating.

Whats my background? Well, I grew up in the world of roller skating every since I was 2 years old in Houston, TX. My dad used to take me to the rink almost every weekend and as I grew up, I never stopped skating! With that said, I have over 26 years of rhythm skating background. I enjoy what I do and hope to pass on the fun of skating to others.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Saturday, January 4th (5-7pm)
Fancy Footwork
Balancing, Transitioning, and Pivoting on your skates to make expressive movements!

Sunday, February 23rd (12-2pm)
Rink hangout at Playland. Just pay the price of their admission. Lessons are on me!

Saturday, March 2ith (5-7pm)
Review and Continue: Balancing, Transitioning, and Pivoting on your skates to make expressive movements!
Basic: Downtown, Crazy Legs
Intro to Variations: Downtown, Crazy Legs

Saturday, May 2nd (5-7pm)
Spins! Spins! Spins! / End of Session Review and Party
Spins and how to implement them while in Skating Motion

Friday, May 22nd (8-10pm)
Finding your balance to execute Toe-up Toe-down spins and Toe-to-toe spins. Other various implementations.
