Battersea Choral Society Presents Will Todd's Mass in Blue
Battersea Choral Society is delighted to be performing Mass in Blue by Will Todd on Saturday 22 June.
And not only that, we will be joined by The Will Todd Trio with Will himself on piano. Together with Lorna James, Soprano and Paul Jones, Saxophone it promises to be the most thrilling performance that this summer can offer and not to be missed.
During the evening we will be treated to another piece by The Will Todd Trio.
We will start the evening by singing Shakespeares Songs and Sonnets by George Shearing a British jazz pianist who was brought up in Battersea. Born blind, he was remarkable to create a musical world for himself both here and in the United States.
