Rocky Mountain Folk Club - Robbie Burns Night 2019
The Rocky Mountain Folk Club's annual Robbie Burns Celebration with piper, Robert Henderson, and the address to the Haggis by Jim Hutchens.
Headliners for the night, Cabot's Crossing, have a repertoire firmly embedded in East Coast / Maritime / Newfoundland / traditional music and bring an authentic Celtic performance to the stage: the raw excitement of an impromptu kitchen party fused with the refined, polished sound of musicians demonstrating decades of combined experience. Their high-energy and hard-driving rhythm will leave audiences clapping, stomping, singing and drinking along usually all of the above!
Opening the evening will be Horizon Ridge, featuring multi-instrumentalists and singers, Dianne, Helen, Steve and Peter who take their inspiration from a whole world of music styles. A group of fine singers, songwriters and players with a passion for music, where nothing is off limits as long as the music is good!
Doors open at 7:30pm and music starts at 8:00pm
