BOWL STARTERS with Lady Trample
This class is targeted towards skaters who are brand new to the world of bowl or ramp skating! Even if youve been around a little while its worth coming along for a refresher as we run through stance, pumping, carving, turns and airs. This class covers everything you need to know about park skating and its all done inside the transition! Through the session you get one on one feedback to help you get the most out of your stance and have a much easier road to taking it to the coping.

Lady Trample Bio:
Founder of Chicks in Bowls, VRDL Jammer and self professed skate addict. From the day she first laced up a set of quads in June 2011, Lady Trample knew shed found her new vice. Born and bred in New Zealand Trample has since uprooted and moved to Melbourne, Australia to explore new skateparks and expand her skating with the VRDL All Stars. Trample debuted with the team in Blue at her first WFTDA tournament at Playoffs in 2016. But thats not really why shes here. Since 2012, Trample has been balancing her love of Roller Derby with another passion on skates, bowl skating. A controversial' cross training option in some minds, but when you see her take to the bowl youll see just how freeing and fun park skating is. Trample has coached around the world and gets the most pleasure out of nurturing new skaters, breaking down the unknowns' and focusing on the fundamentals of park skating to ensure a long and loving relationship between the skater and the bowl. It's all about patience and progressing at your own rate. Finding the tricks that inspire and excite you and just enjoying the experience of learning.
