Affiniti, a classical crossover group from Ireland, returns to the Tri-Cities on their Pacific Northwest holiday tour. They will present A Celtic Christmas Concert, December 6 and 7, 7 PM at the Uptown Theatre in Richland.
The Affiniti trio, made up of Emer Barry (Soprano), Teresa ODonnell (Harp), and Mary McCague (Violin), are classically trained and masters of their instruments. Affinitis style is a blend of classical, rock, and Celtic music. They will be joined by special guest, Howard Crosby, nephew of Bing Crosby. Crosby is a Walla Walla business owner who inherited Bings beautiful voice and easygoing style. He sings tunes from Bings era, including some of Bings most famous holiday songs.
Affiniti has performed with solo and orchestral musicians throughout Ireland, UK, Europe, USA, and Asia with artists including Kanye West, Josh Ritter, Bill Bailey, West Life, Michael Buble, Rod Stewart, and Sinead O'Connor. The concert is a benefit for the nonprofit Arts Center Task Force and its mission to bring the Vista Arts Center to the region. Take the opportunity to attend and help transform our community through building the Vista Arts Center. VIP tables are $500 and include delivery of Leonetti wine. Individual tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Beverages and light desserts will be offered at the snack bar. Box office opens at 6:00 PM both nights.
