Event
Grandma Julia's Porch
Join poverty abolitionist, Julia Dinsmore ,and singer/songwriter Barbara McAfee for a feast of nourishing and enlightening stories and songs.
Julia's colorful tales of life in the American underclass have been featured in many national conferences, college courses, and faith groups. Her stories have a way of changing minds and hearts forever. And now it's our chance to hear them.....
Julia is in the process of writing her next book -- and as an oral culture person, will be telling her stories out loud as a way to capture them in a way that feels alive and natural.
You'll have the opportunity to talk about what you hear in small groups as well.
Barbara will open and close with songs.
We'll send out the Zoom link the morning of the event.....
Note - this event will be recorded so you'll be able to join us that way if the timing for the live event doesn't work.....
