OozeFest 2024 is bringing music from all over the Bay to Peri's Fairfax. Part community event, part pop songs, part experimental psychedelic showcase, Oozefest is entirely a ripping good time. Dig out your bright summer colors and join us to kick off your summer with our inaugural event.

Hot Brother loves you. The Bay Area 4 piece rock band plays lush lust sets that are chain stitched with diary entries about sleepless nights and kissing your friends. Hot Brother is fronted by Brittany Powers, who started writing songs for this project during the pandemic and collected all of her favorite brothers to raise the tunes up right. The chords are weird, the solos bite and the melodies soften your underbelly. Hot Brother's first record is in the final throes of percolation and will be ready for your ears in the nears.

Oona Garthwaite is a California musician and lyricist whose work spans from singer-songwriter indie folk to full-blown, full-band shimmer pop, with a track record of powerhouse live performances. On her seventh EP, One Day Ill Be Fine, Oona is joined by Bay Area legends Scott McDowell and Benjamin Andrews to craft a collection of lush, candid pop songs that showcase plainspoken lyrics and a singular voice. Suzanimal is a smart, playful psychedelic pop/rock project from San Francisco Bay Area singer, songwriter and bassist Suzanne Galal. Inspired by her love of Talking Heads and Hiatus Kaiyote, Galal a scientist and pharmacy professor by day picked up a bass guitar for the first time at the age of 30, and began writing confident, groove-centered tracks soon after. With Galals seductive yet light-as-air vocals, lyrics driven by her curiosity about the human mind, and a rotating cast of veteran backing musicians, the band quickly earned a reputation for engaging live performances and genre-defying style. A Suzanimal show is designed to make you lose yourself to the rhythm with just enough of the unexpected to keep you on your toes til the afterparty.
