"Embrace the Journey" JSL's 6th Annual Auction
This year, Journey School Lynnwood's auction will be a hybrid event, held both virtually and in person. The auction showcases children's artwork, experiences, gift baskets, vacations and other items donated from the community. Proceeds from this event will help support the enhancement and expansion of Journey School's outdoor education and learning opportunities within our school and outdoor playground spaces, as well as Journey School's Employee Assistance Fund.
Being a partial outdoor preschool, JSL believes that quality education includes daily opportunities to connect with nature. Hands-on experiences in nature offer unique experiences to support young children's creativity, leadership and problem-solving skills, while enhancing children's cognitive abilities, social relations and self-control. All of this helps build happy, healthy children. With the impact of COVID, it has become even more apparent how vital the outdoors is for our children and school.
Virtual Silent Auction:
The virtual silent auction component of the event will take place through our 32 Auctions event page. All bidding and purchasing will be made through this platform. The silent auction starts on April 10th and will be available 24/7 until it closes on April 15th at 7pm.
Live In-Person Auction: (Adults Only)
The live in-person event will take place on April 15th in Kenmore. This event will include:
- Live entertainment with Seattle-area vocalist Caety Sagoian and multi-instrumentalist Richie Audino
- Live auction items
- Take the Cake Dessert bidding table
- Fund-A-Need, Raise the Paddle
- Drinks & heavy appetizers made by JSL's very own Harvest Kitchen
AND... A good time with your community raising money to make a difference in our children's lives!
Everyone who purchases a ticket to the auction (virtual and in-person) will have access to the 32 Auctions event page where all of the silent auction bidding takes place. Once you purchase your ticket, you will receive an email from Brown Paper Tickets with the link to the 32 Auctions page.
Step 1: Buy your auction ticket (virtual or in-person).
Step 2: Look at your Brown Paper Tickets email to access the link for the 32 Auctions event page.
Step 3: Once you are on 32 Auctions event page, create an account (or sign-in to your existing account).
Step 4: Start bidding and have fun!!
Step 5: When the auction closes, all final purchases will be made via Venmo.
Everyone who buys a ticket will be automatically entered for an opportunity to win fun prizes. Winners will be notified on Friday, April 21st.
Please make sure to indicate your Venmo ID and email so we can contact you for payment.
* Auction items will be available for pick up at JSL on Friday, April 21st.
