Center for Mycological Analytics 2023 Certification Course (April)
Welcome to the Center for Mycological Analytics Inaugural Course!
This summer we are offering a 45-seat course over three 3-day, in-person trainings! Our goal is to bring together our community of citizen scientists and researchers to provide you all the opportunity to learn from our work and insights, and then offer space for you to become a part of it with us! If you've been interested in the science behind the Psilocybin/Hyphae Cup or are trying to move into working in states like Oregon and Colorado or cities like Oakland and DC; this certification course will provide you with a strong foundation of information, skills, and resources to be able to confidently move into these new spaces!
PLEASE NOTE! The course consists of three major date offerings for in-person training. While the Virtual Discord sections will be recorded for future review by students and staff, viewing and presenting will be necessary for complete certification!
Dates:
Sunday April 2nd 2023 10am PST - Virtual Discord Introduction for all class groups
Friday-Sunday April 14-16th 2023 - 3-Day Hands-On in Oakland
Friday-Sunday May 19-21st 2023 - 3-Day Hands-On in Oakland
Friday-Sunday June 16-18th 2023 - 3-Day Hands-On in Oakland
Sunday July 23rd 2023 10am PST - Virtual Discord Data Presentation for all class groups
Class Description:

Pricing:
Normally a $2,000 course; we are offering this course for $1600 to support our inaugural class!

To apply for a scholarship, please email emily(at)centerformycoanalytics.org with a short cover letter explaining your interest in the class and need for scholarship. Applications via email will be followed by a phone screening to determine scholarship status.
