This is a special year for Cantata Academy Chorale as we are celebrating our 60th season of singing! Our theme for this concert will be "This Day".
At this anniversary concert, we are thrilled to be premiering "This Day", a specially commissioned piece by Stacey Gibbs, a Detroit composer who has attained international recognition with his choral arrangements. He is a prolific composer and arranger best known for his spirituals through which he infuses a high level of energy.
For safety, during these continued times of Covid, we will be singing masked even though all of our members are fully vaccinated.
In addition, we will require all attendees to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR Covid test taken after 3:00 pm April 28, 2022 along with your identification. We appreciate your consideration as we do our best to keep all members and attendees as safe as possible.
