We are making music again!
After 18 months of a darkened stage, Redwood Symphony is thrilled to proceed with its 2021-2022 season! Redwood Symphony's 37th season features optimistic, forward-looking music and is about commitment.
We're proud to open our 37th season with the West Coast premiere of Mason Bates' latest orchestral work, incorporating Beethoven's Ode to Joy from his Ninth Symphony. Bates has created a pandemic-inspired tonal portrait of isolation giving way to connection.
We welcome back soloist Jassen Todorov, who will perform Brahms' iconic Violin Concerto.
And finally, what better way to celebrate freedom than with Rossini's William Tell Overture? Heigh Ho!
