TONIGHT - Nevada County Media presents "Take 10: A Short Film Showcase."

THIS EVENT BEGINS TONIGHT WITH THE FIRST 5 PM SESSION - TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE COLFAX THEATRE AND CAN BE PURCHASED ON THIS SITE UNTIL 7 PM.

Take 10 is celebration of ten-minute films featured in the Thru the Lens Script-to-Silver Screen Event - a fundraiser for Nevada County Media. We are highlighting a selection of the Thru the Lens 2019 finalist films that debuted at the Red Carpet Gala on September 30. We also are premiering two other Thru the Lens 2019 entries that didn't appear in the Red Carpet Gala line up. These films are Karen Busse's comedy "The Mulligans" and Gaibrial Morton's film "Welcome to Valhalla."
Take 10 also will showcase a selection of earlier Thru the Lens films from the years 2015 through 2018 at a 5 pm and 6:30 pm screening. Your ticket admits you to all three screenings - the 5 pm, 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm screenings. The entire magical evening takes place at the newly re-imagined historic Colfax Theatre in Downtown Colfax. The event takes place from 5 to 9 pm. The screening will be followed by a "Talk Back" Q & A discussion with the filmmakers.
