Albuquerque Roller Derby

LIVE ROLLER DERBY AT EXPO NM!!! Join the local roller derby team, The Albuquerque Unicorns, for our 2019 home season! Last game of the home season is Sept 21st, Expo NM, doors at 6pm, game at 7:30pm!

This is a family friendly event filled with something for everyone. Music, food, cocktails, face painting, bounce house, local vendors, crafts, and even prizes! All while supporting local non profit roller derby!

Roller derby is a contact sport played by two teams of five members roller skating counter-clockwise around a track. The jammer scores points by passing opponents. The blockers attempt to prevent this through strategic blocking and powerful body checks! The teams attempt to hinder the opposing jammer while assisting their own jammer, in effect, playing both offense and defense simultaneously.

Cards are excepted for most vendors and at the door but cash is usually needed for parking and/or consession stand. ATM available.
