UUCB Concerts for a Cause: SUEDE
Imagine a cross between Adele, Diana Krall and Bette Midler and youll be approaching some idea of Suedes powerful presence, musical talents, and well-honed skills. Pop/Jazz/Blues phenom Suede plays piano, guitar and trumpet, but voice is her first instrument and entertaining is clearly her first love. When the late great Bea Arthur saw Suede perform, she told her, Thank you for the most incredible night of my life in an audience. You are to die for! Likewise, the New York Times published a review, Voices like hers come along maybe once in a generation. From astounding a cappella, incredibly intimate ballads, and smokin trumpet solos, to bring down the house belting blues, Suede delivers it all with her own unique blend of warmth, wit and musical artistry.

Two-thirds of the proceeds from this concert will benefit:
TEDFORD HOUSING (providing housing and services for the homeless) and
OASIS FREE CLINICS (providing free medical and dental services for those who are uninsured and can't afford insurance).
