The Bald Spots Summer Concert
The Bald Spots are a doo-wop singing group from San Luis Obispo. They have been singing together for over 25 years. They perform hits from the 1950s and '60s including works originally performed by The Platters, The Everly Brothers, Elvis Presley, Dion and many more!
The group intersperses its tunes with timely jokes and commentary on age, marriage, social ineptitude and music.
The Bald Spots singers include:
Dale (The Male) Wolff, Bass-Baritone
Craig (Who Makes 'em Beg) Bass
Mike (The Bike) Suddarth, Baritone
Ty (The Guy) Green, Tenor
Brian (The Lion) Lawler, Tenor
All are veterans of local choral music groups including The Vocal Arts Ensemble, San Luis Obispo Master Chorale and Resonance. They have performed internationally at choral music festivals in Canada, Argentina, Uruguay, Italy, Slovenia, and Austria.
Their performances are always a hit especially for those who remember these songs from their youth.
