The Festival Strings
Join the Festival Strings in a concert of music for strings with added soloists. All the members of the Festival Strings either come from Humboldt County or have a close connection to it. The Festival Strings ensemble, led by concertmaster Terrie Baune, is the capstone to the TBAM double-weekend, showcasing a concert of works for string orchestra, and featuring local players and invited guest artists and TBAM family. The Program includes Mozart, Elgar, Janacek, Wolf and Copland. The guest soloists will be Chris Cox on trumpet and Michael Kibbe on English horn.
