Beth Quist Music concert & workshop in Friday Harbor, WA, discount for both! ;-)
Cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. We will let you know if another opportunity arises for this locale. All is well. Thanks for your interest.
You are invited for a solo concert &/or workshop with Beth Quist on Friday, April 26 at 7pm & Saturday, April 27 at 11am. Please notice the 3 pricing tiers. $20 for concert only. $25 for workshop only. $40 for both.
In concert, Beth will be playing many instruments (listed in bio below) & singing a combination of originals, cover tunes, improvisation, & traditional songs from Turkey, the Balkans, India, & other regions.
The singing workshop will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 11am-1pm. Beth will be teaching community oriented improvisational techniques that are appropriate for all levels & styles. This will include basic warm up, solfege, rhythm, & circle singing (a lovely & really fun technique utilized in her work with Bobby McFerrin & Voicestra). Because it's an improvisational system, the styles & intentions are directly influenced by those who attend. I will need a minimum of 10 people advance notice for the workshop to happen. If it doesn't you will be refunded. Thanks.
There are 3 pricing tiers. 1. concert only, 2. workshop only, 3. concert & workshop discounted.
No printed tickets necessary. We'll have your name, & if you'd like, you can print out your verification just to be on the safe side. Tickets are transferable.
Hope we'll see you here! _______________________________
