SKDC April 2019 Boot Camp
Join the Sister Kate Dance Company for a BRAND NEW 4-week class experience, where students will learn an original chorus line choreography to perform for the public! If you have longed to dance in a group of like-minded jazz dance lovin' souls, then this series is for you!
For the April 2019 boot camp, get ready to channel your inner wild dancer in our final SKDC Boot Camp of the season, with an ode to the 1920s Chicago Flapper!
----------- WHO IS INVITED -----------
Anyone who is excited to wear heels and kick those legs in a line of like-minded fabulous individuals!
Note: Our boot camps are intended for age 21+ dancers, as our performances often take place in venues that are 21+ only. For the April 2019 Boot Camp, we will accept 18+ dancers.
----------- WHEN -----------
Tuesdays in April 2019
April 2nd * 7:30-9PM
April 9th, 16th, 23rd * 7:30-8:30PM
* You must be present at all classes to perform with the group.
----------- WHERE -----------
Classes will be held at Theater Puget Sound (TPS); Performance location will be at China Harbor Restaurant on the evening of Tuesday, April 30th.
----------- COST -----------
April 2019 Boot Camp - $65 per dancer, for 4.5 hours of instruction!
----------- WHAT ROUTINE WILL WE LEARN? -----------
Everyone will be learning an original choreographed routine, choreographed by Sister Kate leadership. For the April 2019 boot camp, this routine will be sure to have you kickin' up your heels and twirlin' that strand of beads.
----------- WHAT WILL I WEAR? -----------
For class sessions, wear anything comfy that you can move and sweat in. We recommend that you wear the shoes you will perform in so you are accustomed to how they will feel. For class and performing, we like a low black heel (preferably 1"-2" heel).
For the performance, we will be posting the notes on the costume pieces to purchase for this boot camp, should you wish to perform. Costumes will cost around $25 or under.

DO I HAVE TO PERFORM OR CAN I JUST TAKE THE CLASS?
For this particular boot camp, we ARE requiring everyone who takes the class to commit to performing, only because we have limited props for learning purposes.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY
* We allow refunds for our camps up to 2 weeks (14 days) before the scheduled Boot Camp start date! This allows us to choreograph for a known number of attendees and not disrupt formations/numbers. Please understand that requests for refunds after this date are unavailable.
* Season Passes are non-refundable, but ARE transferable. You may give it as a gift to a friend to take your spot if you are unable to attend for a certain Boot Camp month.
* In the event of a cancellation by SKDC, we will refund your full amount asap.
