Tango Music Workshop with Ramiro Boero
Ramiro Boero, a prominent bandoneon player/arranger/band leader/Orquesta Escuela Emilio Balcarce faculty will lead an open rehearsal of LOFT Tango Community Orchestra and give a workshop on tango music.
Topic:
Hands-on demo/practice of different kinds of marcato/sincopa/yumba as played by different orchestra.
Musicians, feel free to bring instruments for the lecture!
Schedule:
10:45am doors open
11:00-1pm: Open Rehearsal
1pm-2:30pm: lunch (potluck, bring a dish to share)
2:30-4:30pm: lecture
