About the music:
SPEAKEASE
Speakeas, started by Adrienne Wickham-Gobert & Daniel Erik, began on a small stage in a Redwood forest up in Mendocino county. Shortly after kindling their musical spirits, Adrienne and Daniel grew the group into a 5-piece neo-soul, funk ensemble.
Our sound is reminiscent of new bands like Hiatus Kaiyote, Moonchild and Grace Potter yet throwback vibes of Sam Cooke and Bill Withers. We blend soul, funk, rock, blues, and folk into a curated hot plate of musical vibrations that will be sure to move your soul and leave you dancing.

TOKEN GIRL
Token Girl is a lively two-piece ensemble based out of Oakland. Starting in 2016, bandleader Liss Leigh stepped out of her longtime role as a rhythm musician in the pursuit of creative truth through music. Token Girl cooks with a blended recipe of sounds: one part Fleetwood Mac, one part Esperanza Spalding, and a pinch of Paul McCartney.

LOOS LEAF
Elliott Kay and Lucas Heinel have been making music together since they were children in their hometown of Santa Cruz, California. After Elliott moved to Los Angeles and Lucas moved to New York, to pursue different musical and educational possibilities, the two reunited on a trip backpacking through Central America. While traveling through the jungles of Guatemala, the beaches of El Salvador, and the acrid plains of Nicaragua, the two old friends rediscovered their shared love for hip hop, jazz, dub reggae, psychedelic rock, and other forms of music. Upon returning to the states they decided to set up shop in Elliott's Santa Cruz home and create music that would encompass their diverse tastes and showcase their respective skills. With Elliott composing and playing multiple instruments, Lucas recording and producing, and a caste of other musical characters featured, Loos Leaf's music takes listeners on a journey through many sonic landscapes.
